Getting to Harbor House Inn is easy from any direction. From the North (from Muskegon, Traverse City and other points north): Take US 31 into Grand Haven. The first traffic light will be on the corner of US 31 and Jackson Street. Make a right on Jackson and continue (Jackson will turn into Harbor Drive). As you approach the waterfront you will see the first traffic light on Harbor. Keep driving on Harbor. The Harbor House Inn is just one block beyond the second Harbor Drive traffic signal (on the left side of the road). From the South (from Holland, Indiana, Chicago and other points south): Take US 31 into Grand Haven. Continue to Franklin Street and signs to the beach and water front. Make a left on Franklin and follow this road until you hit the waterfront and the only traffic signal on this road. The traffic signal will be at Harbor Drive. Take a left one block and you will be at Harbor House Inn. From the East (from Grand Rapids, Detroit and other points east): Take I-96 west to the M104 / Grand Haven Spring Lake exit. Follow M-104 west to US 31, US 31 south to Jackson Street in Grand Haven. Make a right on Jackson and continue (Jackson will turn into Harbor Drive). As you approach the waterfront you will see the first traffic light on Harbor. Keep driving on Harbor. The Harbor House Inn is just one block beyond the second Harbor Drive traffic signal (on the left side of the road). From the West (by boat): Harbor House Inn is located just about one mile inside the Grand Haven harbor entrance on the south side of the channel. You will be able to see the Inn at the top of the grassy hill of Grand Haven's waterfront park system.
